5 tips to manage your morning to grow your hair 

OK, we get it you like to have a lie in a morning and most likely wait until the 8th snooze before finally creeping from under the duvet. Alternatively, you might get up at the crack of dawn to drag yourself to the gym or hit work early for that elusive 4pm finish. Either way, the last thing you are thinking about is your morning routine to grow your hair… That’s not 100% a bad thing, but we know you will be missing some crucial steps to ensure your hair looks great in weeks to come. We have compiled the list of ‘must do in a morning’ if you want healthy luxurious hair in a morning.


Morning routine to help grow hair


  1. Don’t wash and dry your hair every day.


If you are looking to grow your hair, washing it frequently will cause unnecessary damage not only to your hair but also your scalp. Washing your hair constantly will cause it to become weak, thus will lead to hair snapping and breaking, which is a sure-fire way to stop hair growth. If you are washing the oils and proteins built in the scalp every day, then your hair also loses this nutrient, which is going to stunt the growth of your new hair, that you have had to build due to snapping…. Just don’t… Wash your hair once MAX twice a week.


  1. Eat a high fat, high protein breakfast


You didn’t know that you are what you eat? Well its time to wake up and smell the coffee. Everything you put in your body contributes to your overall health, this includes your hair. You might even have brittle, damaged, dry hair because of your diet. Eating foods which are high in omega fats (3, 6 and 9) will help with building thick shiny hair. When brushing your hair and ditching the split ends, you should always work with a wide bristle brush (soft tip) and start on the ends first, working your way up the hair, then finishing with the root, before using slow strokes down. When growing your hair the aim is to cause as little damage as possible. This new brushing technique will stick with you forever once you start to notice how little hair you collect in the brush.


  1. Let it loose, even in the up-do


Don’t put too much strain on the roots. The easiest thing in the world is to throw your hair into a high bun… That’s fine, just take the time to do it properly.
