CASUAL STYLE: Hair up.

We now need to decided on which style we think we would be wearing day to day. Your Casual look, shall we say. Most of you will tie your hair up.. which is fine! We just need to make sure you’re using the right products still and using the right type of hair bobble. (Yes, there are more than one type!)

Lots of you will tie your hair up every day and have pieces of hair that fall out because of breakage or just because “THEY JUST DON’T GROW”. Wrong. Even when styling your up, you should still consider the tension being applied. Our expert stylists suggest using an oil. Oil restores valuable moisture in your scalp and helps sustain hair growth. We would also recommend only applying oil to your hair once or twice a week. Applying the right oil to your hair won’t make your hair greasy. If you apply oil directly to your scalp your body will stop producing natural oil, it does this by blocking the follicles and reduces the PH levels. thus preventing a greasy looking scalp.

How often do you wash your hair? if its every day or every other day you need to STOP what you are doing. Washing your hair so often will do you no favours if you're trying to maintain a healthy hair regime. Try using a sulphate free shampoo! The benefits are immense! (Check our blog on sulphate free products). You can also try adding dry shampoo or salt sprays. This will aid your casual, undone look for the week and soon become your best friend.

Quick Recap – We have taken our shot of SOS haircare, delicious. We are now shampooing our hair in a sulphate free shampoo. Perfect. You’re off to work so quickly need to tie up your hair, add some oil and use the correct bobble (Anti-Snap) and your now on your way to longer, fuller hair. Winning.
